 BASIC PURPOSE:

This position supports the Sales Development department by maintaining all Optimum Selling offers in CMOS, creates and maintains OS contests, creates selling scripts, and manages the Fantasy Gifts Customer support.  Assists with item set up verification processes.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Collaborates with merchants and vendors to create Optimum Selling opportunities, contests and promotions across all contact channels
  • Makes recommendations and implements plans to improve product knowledge and increase Optimum Selling revenue
  • Assists with the development of Optimum Selling training and content
  • Assists with the maintenance of the Sales Development page on the Customer Care portal
  • Maintains Optimum Selling offers in CMOS
  • Tabulate, submit and posts contest winners
  • Tracking and reporting daily, weekly, monthly OS, contest and all project figures
  • Maintain weekly feature line messaging (x2860)
  • Manages the Fantasy Gift customer process including phone line coverage, customer support, and follow up
  • Acts as information liaison between Neiman Marcus and Fantasy Gift brand partners
  • Maintains contact log and weekly reports of Fantasy Gift line contacts and results

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

 

§  1-3 years experience in a sales/service/technical environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Organized with excellent time management skills
  • Must be self-motivated, shows initiative without prompting
  • Ability to work flexible hours as business needs change
  • Strong PC skills necessary:
    1. Microsoft Windows
    2. Microsoft Word – extensive set of page layout and mail merge functions
    3. Microsoft Excel – working knowledge of formulas and analytical abilities
    4. Microsoft PowerPoint – automated presentations for printed and live viewing
    5. Microsoft Access – database functionality and keying

 

 

 

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

  • Advanced knowledge of Customer Care Systems and Applications
  • Some knowledge / application of HTML code and website management
  • Other duties as assigned
