 DESCRIPTION


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance initiatives to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Managers

  • Leading and developing a team of Supervisors and hourly associates

  • Acting as the primary information source for your team; maintain compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed

  • Mentoring, training, and developing Supervisors and associates

  • Creating, communicating, and maintaining quality control policies and SOP’s to Supervisors and associates

  • Proactively identifying and leading process initiatives

  • Building and delivering productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Operations Manager to ensure a balanced work force across the facility

  • Evaluating performance objectives and metrics to determine department productivity requirements to achieve level of service, accuracy, and quality expectations

  • Partnering with other Managers to share best practices across shifts as well as the network

  • All other duties as assigned.

     

    MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all aspects of employee supervision, not limited to—interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.

  • Responsible for coaching and development of supervisors.

  • Responsible for operational metrics and KPI’s.

QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE


Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 4 or more years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous supervisory experience preferred.
