Manager, Income Tax

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree a plus

·         8+ years of income tax experience, with a combination of industry and public accounting

·         A strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance issues for large companies; Knowledge of retail industry issues a plus

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Experience using Oracle or other general ledger packages

·         Proficient with Excel and Essbase while applying strong analytical skills in the manipulation and understanding of data

·         Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes multiple projects, meets all deadlines, and is dependable with a sense of personal responsibility for quality work product. 

·         Hands-on, detail oriented, results oriented and is willing and able to bring all issues to resolution by digging into the general ledger database, seeking historical details, analyzing financials, and working with other members of the organization

·         Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as function with independent responsibilities

·         Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor tax staff

·         Commitment to process improvement and exceptional attention to detail

·         Adaptable to changing priorities with a commitment to ethical responsibilities
