Responsibilities: 

  • Gathering, defining and maintenance of reporting related data.
  • Analyzing data for accuracy, timeliness and usefulness.
  • Development of reports through collaboration and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Delivering and maintaining catalog of reports based on business needs.
  • Ad-hoc analysis and data modeling projects for Logistics leadership, etc.
  • Assist in standing up enhanced Logistics EDW.  

Qualifications

The associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:

  • Work cross-functionally between multiple groups and teams both internal to Neiman Marcus and external carriers/vendors.
  • Ability to work as a liaison between Logistics department and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to challenge and streamline existing processes.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple workstreams at once.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to create initiatives based on department’s requirements and needs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to query/analyze large data sets within an EDW environment a must
  • Tableau or similar data visualization platform experience a must
  • Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, slicers, complex functions and formulas, etc.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
