Logistics Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is responsible for completing the following tasks:
- Gathering, defining and maintenance of reporting related data.
- Analyzing data for accuracy, timeliness and usefulness.
- Development of reports through collaboration and feedback from stakeholders.
- Delivering and maintaining catalog of reports based on business needs.
- Ad-hoc analysis and data modeling projects for Logistics leadership, etc.
- Assist in standing up enhanced Logistics EDW.
Qualifications
The associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:
- Work cross-functionally between multiple groups and teams both internal to Neiman Marcus and external carriers/vendors.
- Ability to work as a liaison between Logistics department and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to challenge and streamline existing processes.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple workstreams at once.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet aggressive timelines.
- Ability to create initiatives based on department’s requirements and needs.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to query/analyze large data sets within an EDW environment a must.
- Tableau or similar data visualization platform experience a must.
- Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, slicers, complex functions and formulas, etc.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
