Lead Software Engineer - Marketing Technology
Neiman Marcus has an immediate
opening for a Lead Software Engineer - Marketing Technology to join our IT
Marketing team in Irving, Texas. This role will be involved in the build of the
customer Identity platform and integration with customer master to support the
Ignite to Win Initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a
fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency to deliver projects within
marketing technology.
- Design and build the Marketing Technologies focusing on delivering world class solutions
- Be a solution expert within and across Marketing Platforms
- Leads solution design, considering risks, mitigations, performance, user experience, and testability along with architects
- Ensure designs are aligned with best engineering practices by partnering closely with Solution Architects
- Work closely on an agile team of product owner, other engineers and scrum master in a collaborative environment to configure systems and deliver technical solutions adhering to business requirements
- Mentor junior software engineers
- Conduct brown bag sessions and help towards building a strong technical team
- Ability to interact with both technical and executive stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related engineering degree preferred
- 8+ years’ work experience in technology
- 5+ years’ experience in Engineer roles implementing Marketing technologies with a desire to learn Marketing Customer Master Data and Customer Identity platform development
- 4+ years’ experience working on cloud platform such as AWS and SaaS technologies
- Good experience integrating internal and external systems using real-time messaging, RESTful APIs, and ETL integration tools
- Experience supporting MDM solutions using industry leading tools
- Experience supporting ETL solutions including but not limited to Snaplogic or Informatica
- Relational and cloud database experience (Oracle, Redshift etc..) with SQL Query analysis
- Take initiative in building and shipping high quality code. Java skills preferred
- Have extensive experience working hands-on in an agile environment
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be a self-starter and have the desire to learn and grow
