Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Support associate is responsible for auditing and maintaining physical accuracy of the inventory. 

 

Common job tasks include:

  • Cycle-counting merchandise to maintain correct inventory levels.
  • Research from daily reporting.
  • Assisting Quality Assurance with problem merchandise.
  • Reconcile variances and communicate them to supervisor.
Key Performance Elements:
 

The Associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:

  • Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
  • Focus and remain on task in a fast paced environment.
  • Meet scheduled work hours for department and shift.
  • Remain flexible to work overtime, which is mandatory.
  • Meet NMD physical requirements of standing, bending and lifting, etc.
  • Give attention to detail.
Requirements:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Basic math competency
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Computer literacy:  Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous warehouse experience.
Essential Functions:

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Lifting Objects weighing up to 25lbs from the floor to over-head level.
  • Lift objects weighing up to 45lbs from the floor to waist.
  • Continuous/frequent walking or standing for long periods of time.
  • Continuous/frequent pushing or pulling heavy carts – up to 50lbs
