Your Role 

The Inventory Control Analyst position oversees inventory related issues reported from the various Neiman Marcus Group departments. Responsibilities include reporting, discovering, and analyzing discrepancies in the inventory data while ensuring and improving inventory controls are in place. Additionally, this position is responsible for the coordination and reconciliation of the annual physical inventory. This associate will report to our Manager of Central Inventory Management and will interact with the stores and departments throughout the company on a daily basis.  

What You’ll Do: 

Process inventory adjustments accurately
Research reported issues with data analysis to identify root causes and trends causing inaccurate inventory
Lead trainings of proper inventory control procedures to a variety of audiences
Participate in the annual physical inventory to ensure accuracy
Ad-hoc reporting  

What You Bring:  

Minimum of 3+ years in inventory control/management, accounting or audit preferred
1 – 3 years of knowledge of inventory concepts, practices and procedures
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access and SQL
Strong work ethic, ability to work independently in a fast pace research driven environment
Robust problem-solving skills, time management skills and ability to multitask efficiently
Substantial capacity for following through tasks to completion
Able to work effectively with all levels of the organizations 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
To be successful one must be Results and Actions Oriented; pushes self and others for results and approaches challenges and projects with perseverance
Oracle Retail Systems experience is a plus
