Responsibilities:
Passion for building relationships and storytelling through photography and video
Build, coordinate and manage all influencer recruitment strategies and activities that can reach our core audience segments
Manage multiple influencer management agencies
Work with PR to coordinate communication with high-profile influencers in order to plan influencer and press events
Collaborate with creative and marketing teams on influencer-driven content production
Work with merchants and vendors to manage influencer programs (e.g. gifting, sample coordination)
Manage influencer campaign budgets
Work closely with co-op, IMC, stores, and affiliate marketing teams
Develop influencer campaign-specific program briefs and social posting guidelines
Build and maintain relationships with high value influencers
Serve as influencer subject matter expert for Neiman Marcus Group
Develop actionable insights from campaigns
Advise on and build strategic partnerships as needed
Update marketing teams on social media trends
Capture content or write copy with short lead times
Negotiate influencer contracts
Source and vet talent to support corporate, divisional or brand campaigns
Core Competencies:
3+ years of experience at a social media/influencer/PR agency or in an influencer management position at a luxury brand is preferred
Understands trademark and copyright law, as it pertains to influencers and content usage
Ability to set long-term strategy, clear goals, and KPIs
Experience as a content creator or Influencer is preferred
Strong photography skills. This position will be working with professional photographers.
Strong copywriting skills
Strong project management skills
Some travel required
Quick creative thinking and excellent writing skills are essential to this position, as well as great attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and being proactive
Ability to quickly grasp business issues/trending news topics and connect the dots to create timely media opportunities
Strong presentation skills
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and contribute to multiple projects.
