The warehouse coordinator maintains sample inventory in our hard goods photography studio. This includes the management and maintenance of sample merchandise for the studio. The warehouse coordinator works directly with the Studio Manager and Art Director to ensure samples are received, unpacked, stored, and transported properly. This includes sending items back to the vendor, processing clearance and move authorizations, and supporting the buying office needs. The coordinator will also work closely with the Studio Manager to consistently organize and maintain studio efficiency and cleanliness in accordance with Studio guidelines.

 

This is a full-time, day hourly position working Monday-Friday.

 

Job Duties

  • Manage inventory and transfer of large samples in and out of the facility 
  • Clearly communicate discrepancies or damages involved in the processing of inventory and resolve the issues
  • Organize, prepare, and audit samples for the photoshoot process
  • Maintain studio cleanliness by returning the merchandise (furniture, rugs) back to the warehouse, returning set and set parts to designated areas, restoring all studio floors to safe operating conditions.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy merchandise on a consistent basis (20-75 lbs.)
  • Forklift experience and certification is a plus, but training will be provided
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Must have basic PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, basic email, data entry and typing skills
  • Must follow safety guidelines, be flexible and detailed oriented 
  • Knowledge of Sample Track program a plus
