FASHION OFFICE ASSISTANT, BERGDORF GOODMAN
JOB SUMMARY
In partnership with Linda Fargo and The Fashion Office at Bergdorf Goodman, the Fashion Office Assistant will need to be a Fashion Enthusiast, knowledgeable of trends, fashion news, fashion references, organized, and technologically proficient.
JOB DESCRIPTION
TREND AND MARKET REPORTING, FASHION OFFICE
Create real-time Trend and other reports with urgency. Observant of emerging trends. Copywriting and PowerPoint presentation skills are essential
Share out Trend info to Merchants and Marketing with urgency
Assess and understand the culture and history of Bergdorf Goodman
Identify new and emerging resources
Follow developments in the Industry
Assist in creating product selections and assortments as needed on behalf of FO for Press and Marketing as needed
Provide oversight as needed for The Linda Shop
ORGANIZATIONAL DUTIES
Maintain appointment schedules and coordinate meetings, including group calls. Proactively monitor email inboxes and arrange travel and hotel reservations as requested.
Handle calendar management and travel arrangements
Serve as the main point of contact for The Fashion Office externally and internally.
Assist with IT challenges
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Previous experience in retail, service, fashion industry or other fast paced environments
Must be fashion savvy and organized
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must work collaboratively in a team environment
Self starting
Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
Must be proficient in Google Workspace, Powerpoint and Excel
Quick study on new computer systems and quickly understands and incorporates new system functionality
