The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day email program. This entails managing initiatives from concept to launch and prioritizing projects that will impact conversion and sales. This role is highly analytical and will require the assessment of business trends to identify problems, suggest solutions, as well as assess the competitive landscape for new experiences, content, and technologies.
The primary focus of this role will be developing, analyzing, and optimizing the strategies in partnership with cross functional teams as well as third party vendors.
Duties:
Maintain relationship with Email Service Provider as well as additional third party vendors
Manage E-Commerce Roadmap identifying and prioritizing projects related to customer retention, loyalty and promotion, and site experience
Develop strategy and execution with familiarity in A/B testing and launching new initiatives
Partner with multiple teams such as Marketing, Customer Analytics, Creative, Site, PR, Advertising, and Store Operations / Management
Provide keen analytical insight into email metrics and share recommendations for performance enhancement to key partners
Collaborate closely with other Email Marketing Managers as well as Assistant
Email Marketing Managers, will report directly to the Marketing Director | Email & Content Strategy
Focus on increasing customer satisfaction through initiatives that drive email engagement. Expected to leverage existing programs and develop incremental programs from the ground up
Future potential to manage and develop direct report(s) with the ability to effectively communicate and delegate tasks while overseeing daily execution of ongoing programs and projects
Job Requirements:
3-4+ years’ experience in online marketing, email experience is required, mobile marketing is preferred
Previous management experience preferred
Exceptional analytical ability with proven track record of data-driven success
Strong communication and organizational skills; extremely detail oriented
Highly proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint
Self-starter, ability to work and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
Occasional ability to work outside normal business hours due to nature E-Commerce business
