Director, Revenue Management and Pricing Analytics

Sitting
on the Marketing team, this Promotion Director position will play a critical
role in building the overall promotional marketing strategy for the Neiman
Marcus Brand by; calculating current and YOY inventory impact on promotions,
analyze past performance and customer data, and accurately model out impact of
promotional mechanics including pricing, profitability, and promotion type. 
The
Director will develop, manage, track and report on forecasts, demand, and
budget impact for all promotions.  They
will consistently track competitive promotions, including vendor exclusions,
and develop POV’s on impact of vendor promotions on our performance to make
recommendations on how the business can be more competitive with our
promotional strategy. 
While
sitting in Marketing, this role with partner closely with our Insights &
Analytics, FP&A, Planning, eComm, Stores and Merchant teams. 
Requirements
for Omni Promo Director:
- Must have 5-10 years’ experience in Marketing
     Promotions, Analytics, FP&A, Revenue or Price Management Experience.
- Must be able to work at all levels of the company and comfortable presenting to executive teams.
- Must be analytical, able to work in
     Planning systems, excel savvy (very familiar with pivot tables), and can
     turn numbers into recommended actions.
- Using competitive info and
     performance-to-date tracking, develop recommendations on evolutions to our
     promotional plans (including expected demand, markdown, and net sales implications
     for recommendations).
- While sitting in Marketing, must be
     able to collaborate cross functionally with Planning, eCommerce team, and
     work closely with Insights & Analytics and Finance teams.
- Strong analytics/promotion planning
     background a must.
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising
     basics and process.
- Ability to conduct complex quantitative
     analysis and build analytical models using Excel with ability to then
     leverage data to inform strategy.
