The Digital Specialist, Mackenzie Childs will be responsible for the brand's Neiman Marcus digital performance, from analyzing category financials to partnering closely with Site Merchandising to optimize the assortment online. The objective is to achieve the sales and margin plans for the given area of business, which can be a single brand or multiple brand portfolio.

This role will internally report to the eCommerce Category Director and work closely with the Site Merchandising Manager for the given areas of business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide and evaluate class, brand, and department level analysis, using various data sets and tools to provide in-season direction
  • Communicate insights and opportunities to cross functional partners on a consistent basis and during monthly projections with merchants
  • Own and manage monthly Brand Partner reviews, communicating opportunities acted on and results of efforts.
  • Works with Brand Partner to increase product imagery, enhance copy, and leverage incremental content onsite
  • Provide brand partner KPI data and marketing activation results on a timely basis to support brand partnership strategies.
  • Review demand and eCommerce KPIs daily and generate weekly recaps for key internal partners and external brand partners.
  • Participate in all relevant meetings, analyze and communicate business, traffic, and site performances while making recommendations to drive growth. 
  • Own and execute the site experience to perform PDP Excellence, ensure products are best positioned with SEO, product attributes, taxonomy, facets, categorization of product.
  • Monitor and improve Browse and Search landing pages
  • Become a subject matter expert in the following tools: Catman, Adobe, Bloomreach, Tableau, Wrike, Contentful, Cloudinary, Flashboard

Types of Activities / Work:

  • Competitive insights: Maintain awareness of brick-and-mortar performance, online competition and trends. Use third party platforms to monitor competitive traffic and assortment. Provide takeaways and actions to pursue based on this knowledge.
  • Marketing trends: Perform ongoing analysis of the business including traffic and marketing trends (incremental efforts outside of planned coop, deep dive into performance media)
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Develop formal business review read-outs with performance, trends, key learnings, and actions/next steps for further growth and continued evaluation.

  •  Hit Brand’s financial goals/merchant plans
  •  Increase topline growth and conversion (exceeding similar brands/overall category trends)
  •  Increase Brand Partner satisfaction with individual, NM Digital, NMB overall, through building relationships

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in eCommerce, digital retail environment
  •  Passion for data and possess a strong analytical nature with an ability to use data and metrics from various resources to back up assumptions and recommendations
  • Working knowledge in site analytics tools preferred (Adobe Omniture or Google Analytics)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
  •  Proven ability to effectively build and manage relationships
  • Strength in both oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills
