What You'll Do
- The Asset Protection Lead is responsible for Saks Global assets at the Fulfillment Center, including physical security, equipment, inventory, data, and employees. This individual will ensure that all company policies, procedures, local, provincial, and federal laws are adhered to in the execution of internal and external theft investigations or inquiries. This individual will partner closely with the Operations leaders. This position is based on-site.
Under the guidance of the Asset Protection Manager,

Oversee and ensure the integrity of physical inventory by monitoring reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis

Maintain consistent communication with FC Leadership Team, Managers and Employees to drive awareness of inventory shortage results, shortage concerns and strategy initiatives

Lead, conduct investigations, and develop conclusion reports of theft, fraud and other incidents in partnership with the People Business Partner (PBP)

Partner with operations team to ensure shortage control processes are followed

Develop projects while continuously improving physical security, processes, standards, training, and policies for future growth

Promote and execute security best practices

Audit physical security infrastructure (i.e. intrusion detection, access control, cameras) and ensure proper functionality of all systems
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

High School diploma or GED required
-
2+ years of Asset Protection Experience, large volume fulfillment center environment preferred

Strong knowledge of retail security systems, information systems, and productivity software
-
Proven track record of identifying shortage exposures and creative strategies to overcome them

Ability to work a rotational schedule of days on/off including weekends and holidays and/or overnight as necessary

Ability to work in all weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications (nice to haves):
Bilingual Spanish/English
