Prevention experience is preferred.
- Investigators must possess
strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as effective verbal
and written communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate
circumstances and meet timely decisions based on apprehension guidelines.
- Must have advanced knowledge of
CCTV systems.

Responsibilities
- Communicate Loss Prevention
programs to the store team.
- Explain and demonstrate
measures to prevent losses.
- Inspect, review and audit key
areas as outlined in Merchandise Protection Standards and store audit
program.
- Identify and report violations
of company policies to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager.
- Enforce Store Call policies.
- Prepare reports and document
all Loss Prevention incidents.
- Secure evidence.
- Monitor CCTV system to detect
incidents of dishonesty and violations of store policy.
- Conduct Worker's Compensation
and Public Liability accident investigations.
- Initiate investigations of
fraudulent activities to identify suspects.
- Initiate and assist in employee
investigations.
- Investigate, detain and
interview shoplifters.
- Appear as a witness in legal
proceedings.
