Styling Coordinator - BGO
Neiman Marcus styling coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Styling Manager of Neiman Marcus. The coordinator will be contributing to continual style improvements and styling/prep efficiencies while upholding brand standards.
Job Duties:
- In charge of organizing, setting up styling areas, and assisting in reordering all supplies for fashion, prop shoes, prop clothing, accessories, and styling supplies.
- Monitors set to ensure on-set stylists have materials and props they need, as well as manage product flow through multiple channels of the studio (style out, on set, return to vendor).
- Work closely with creative team: shoot coordinators, photographers, art directors, producers, marketing team, and buying offices. Consistently thinking ahead and working with the Styling Manager to streamline and refine our process with styling.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage all assistant stylists on daily duties
- Assist in organizing samples to be shot before the shoot begins as well as after, working with coordinators on product flow
- Assist Styling Manager in preparation of daily reshoots
- Point of contact for on set stylists to Styling Manager
- Maintain set standards of necessary styling needs for shoot days
- Manage set preparation for the following day
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience with on figure photo styling
- Put away shoes daily from sets and return BG shoes to their correct place
- Seasoned photo studio experience with the intensity of a fast-paced e-commerce production studio with the ability to uphold the highest standard of style and taste level to correspond with Neiman Marcus brand aesthetic
- Stamina to be agile, efficient, and flexible five days a week
- Strong communication skills (written and for presentation) and the ability to work with art directors, managers, and creative teams
- Ability to multi-task
- A self-starter. Someone who always seeks new processes, fresh ideas to problem solve
- Ability to teach associates new computer skills, styling skills, and best practices to improve their job function
