Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of enterprise technology related experience in application development using Java/J2EE with service-oriented architectures, application servers/frameworks (Spring Boot, Micro-services, Design patterns etc,)
- 2+ years of experience with integrating internal and external systems using a variety of integration patterns including ETL, web services, and real-time messaging. Specific experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS), Serverless architecture and Java RESTful API Development is required.
- 2+ years of experience with developer tools including GIT, Jenkins, NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, S3 and DynamoDB is required.
- Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL data stores, Storage and distributed persistence technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with high-volume consumer facing software systems, including architecting, and building highly scalable distributed systems, integrations across multiple data-sources
- Experience/knowledge with SCM (Bitbucket, GIT) and DevOps tool suite (CI/CD, Bamboo, Automation etc.,) is essential.
- Experience in Marketing technologies, third party integrations and building Customer Data Lakes is a plus.
- Experience with preparing systems for peak seasons such as holiday for retail.
- Experience developing and leveraging relationships in cross-functional teams
- Strong presentation and communication skills
