Shoot Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Shoot Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of online photo shoots, from the time the buyers turn-in merchandise to post production.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with buying offices to confirm samples for online photo shoots
Manage the departments for which they have been assigned with little supervision
Follow up with buyers on missing merchandise; enforce deadlines and confirmations
Partner with buying offices to resolve issues
Interact with Photographers, Photo Assistants, Stylists and Art Directors regarding priorities and rushes
Work with Stylist to pull merchandise together for the shoot
Monitor and spearhead rush photography and returns
Pack merchandise (with appropriate documentation and paperwork) for shipping using specific guidelines
Coordinate with buyers sending merchandise directly to the shoot if needed
Receive merchandise back after shoot and audit contents; report discrepancies
Coordinate post-production (color correction) then return merchandise to vendors, buyers or stock; manage swatches for color corrections
Manage images post-photo shoot to turn over to production for processing
Manage reshoots and rush images when turning over photography to Production dept
Maintain sample information for items with the Data Asset Mgmt system, FileMaker
Understand priorities and act in accordance with business needs
Partner with Shoot Manager for personal development
Job Requirements:
2-3 years experience in a related field
Basic Mac computer skills
FileMaker knowledge a plus, but not required
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven department
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem solving skills and a positive attitude
Results driven with a strong sense of urgency
Takes direction well and demonstrates initiative
Assertive service oriented team player
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
