REPREPORTING STRSTRUCTURE:

The Analyst, Strategy will report into the Director, Strategy.  The Strategy teams reports into the Chief Transformation Officer, who reports to the CEO.

RESRESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Leads analysis of business data; work cross-functionally to identify and recommend key strategies to grow the business by facilitating the acceptance and commercialization of growth ideas. 

·        Contribute to the development and coordination of long-term growth strategies for NMG

·        Contribute to projects related to strategic growth opportunities in the business; including development and delivery of key milestones, analysis, presentations and the collaboration/management of cross-functional teams and external consultants.

·        Contribute to the development of Board of Directors presentations (as needed)

·        Partner with cross-functional partners to ensure process, operational initiatives and execution plans to drive brand growth

·        Identify industry best practices and translating into practical solutions for Neiman Marcus Group.

 

EXPEXPERIENCE:

·        2 – 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, retail and/or consumer package goods

·        Experience in merchandising, planning, finance, eCommerce, startups, business development or omni channel retail – including but not limited to luxury department, specialty or monobrand store retail.

·        Excellent communication and influencing skills.   Influence others by asserting own ideas while gaining support and commitment from others.   Identifies/influences critical stakeholders – proactively problem solves and recommends solutions.                        

·        Strong presentation skills including development and delivery of various formats to executive audiences.  Able to understand audience and present material accordingly.

·        Strategic thinking; ability to identify outside environmental trends and changing customer needs and use that knowledge to build business strategies and plans. 

·        Aptitude for quantitative analysis, specifically regarding financial modeling

·        Demonstrated partnership and relationship building skills; build collaborative partnerships cross-functionally and resolve conflict productively.

·        Ability to champion change and new initiatives by challenging the status quo and acting as catalyst of change and provide leadership to drive to results.

·        Keeps abreast of new developments in related fields and imparts new ideas that have a positive impact on the business.

·        Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

·        Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

·        Proficiency with SQL or other data query tools preferred

 

EDUEDUCATION:

·        Bachelor’s Degree required.
