Senior Manager, Personalization Platform
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of IT software delivery experience, with strong development background and managing project, resource, developer management, and/or offshore vendor management capabilities.
- 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in Information Technology running medium to large/complext projects or teams with multiple interactions and dependencies.
- Experience building and supporting distributed scalable enterprise-class applications using Java/J2EE, AWS with RESTful APIs, event driven architecture and integration patterns.
- 2+ years of working experience designing, building and automating solutions utitlizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, API gateway etc.,
- Strong knowledge of Caching frameworks, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL data stores, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
- Working Experience/knowledge with SCM (Bitbucket, GIT) and DevOps tool suite (CI/CD, Bamboo, Automation etc.,) is essential.
- Experience leading teams implementing retail packages for campaign management, customer data platforms, and customer Master data preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent at building and developing teams
- Drives vision & strategy, defines the Marketing technology roadmap
- Strong communication (oral and written), with an ability to convey complex results in an easy to understand, thematic manner
- Drives results and has strong accountability
- Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of industry trends, tools and techniques
- Practical experience in leading technical teams in Agile development practices
- Experience managing project financials, budget forecasts, and staffing plans
- Prior experience with ML driven recommendation solutions is a plus.
- Prior experience in retail domain and SaaS products is a plus.
- Bachelor or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
