Supervisor – Sample & Shoot Coordination
Job Summary:
The Supervisor manages sample and shoot coordination for NMG brands Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages sell photography sample and shoot coordination for all assigned categories
- Oversee editorial and catalog sample and shoot coordination
- Manage a team of 4-10 direct reports
- Partner with Studio production management team to manage merchandise and photography processes
- Collaborate with additional teams including Buying Offices, Styling, Photography, Art Directors, etc. to ensure all merchandise is photographed according to Company needs
- Supervise the traffic of samples, ensuring deadlines are met for arrival and return
- Ensure images returned from photography are accurate and complete
- Manage Sample PO process and inventory
- Manage the Precious Jewelry sample and shoot procedures
- Collaborate with Leadership on associate engagement, i.e. quarterly awards, information board, birthday announcements.
- Performs additional tasks as necessary
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Previous leadership experience managing and motivating multiple direct reports
- Efficient at managing a high volume of projects and adhering to deadlines
- Service oriented mindset
- Able to anticipate problems and plan accordingly
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office, emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
