Job Description:

General: This position is responsible for product photography in a fast paced, high

volume studio. Lead product photographer will oversee the execution of established

standards and procedures in the studio production process and lead in future

developments and implementation.

 

 

Duties:

  • Provide leadership, supervision and performance management of staff of 7

    product photographers plus additional freelance associates

  •  Work with studio leadership to promote growth and development of staff

  •  Lead the team in the implementation and development of studio processes and

    procedures

  •  Oversee the capture and processing of e-commerce product images

  •  Maintain image quality and requirements for product photography

  •  Coordinate equipment maintenance and usage

  •  Photo retouching, image compositing and manipulation

  •  Create and altering sets

  •  Ability to light different textures and materials to best show products

 

 

Experience & Skills Required:

  • 5+ years experience in a professional commercial photography studio, including

    photography team leadership experience

  •  Strong communication skills

  •  Ability to work in a high volume production environment

  •  Experience with Capture One Pro

  •  Experience with PhotoShop

  •  Experienced with Canon Camera system.

  •  Macintosh OSX operating system

  •  Strong communication and leadership skills

  •  Ability to multitask and capable of working independently or in a team

  •  Retail photography experience
