Neiman Marcus Group is seeking a Solutions Architect to design highly efficient enterprise initiatives as part of our IT Supply Chain Group.  This individual will work with IT project teams and business units to evaluate, design, create and implement solutions for medium to large scale projects.  We are seeking energetic, motivated, team-oriented individuals to join our talented team of  IT Supply Chain professionals.

Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with project teams to design solutions that support defined initiatives
    • Research and evaluate technologies to drive overall solution strategies
    • Analyze projects to develop functional designs for implementation by the project team
    • Define and document clear standards and best practices across all technologies used in our Supply Chain environment
    • Assist in selection of new products and technologies in the Neiman Marcus environment
    • Participate in solution\package review with project implementation teams
    • Develop subject matter expertise in all technologies and their interactions in the Neiman Marcus application environment.
    • Assist in hands-on activities such as analysis, configuration, testing, implementation and support of products and solutions.

 

Desired skills/expertise

    • Bahelors degree preferred

    • 4 years of experience developing, supporting or implementing packaged application software

    • Expert understanding of Flow-through and DTC Warehouse Operations and WMS methodologies

    • Design and development experience in Manhattan Platform Suite solutions

    • Design and development experience with COGNOS BI for analytics, reporting, SQL queries and dashboards

    • Experience in developing and designing large scale enterprise Supply Chain solutions

    • Strong cross-functional communication skills.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Strong multi-tasking capabilities

    • Flexible, motivated and enthusiastic work ethic

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a focused team environment

    • Experience in a variety of development methodologies including Agile and Iterative methodologies
