Job Summary
This individual will create concepts from the creative, marketing and merchant teams and execute them into electronic communication materials for external audiences.
Job Duties
• Execute creative vision and design that represents overall brand presentation
• Develop rich media solutions that are viewable on multiple platforms including mobile devices
• Work with internal partners to develop realistic creative & technical solutions based on the needs of the business
• Keep up-to-date on emerging web technologies and designing for multiple devices
• Prioritize and work on several projects
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products and the luxury retail industry
• Create website assets, email campaigns and special online projects.
• Retouch beauty and fashion pictures, including removing blemishes, smoothing and slimming, and extending and recreating backgrounds
Job Requirements
• 1-3 years experience with HTML, CSS
• 1-3 years design experience
• Must be extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop & Dreamweaver
• Must be detail-oriented with specific attention to type design.
• Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in design and the ability to partner with creative and business partners
• Ability to make last minute changes based on business needs and direction
• Knowledge of all design philosophies including color, type, hierarchy, etc.
