Brand Partnerships: A dedicated function responsible for driving and elevating our brand partnership programs through strong data driven opportunities and content creation
The Partnership Marketing will be responsible for the development and scaling of a dedicated brand publishing function that establishes NMG as a platform through which brand partners can understand and reach their target customer. This role will work closely with internal channel owners (email, social, site, media), Analytics, Creative, Finance, and Merchant teams to ensure the completion of a multi-phased publishing model which will be used to both drive the Neiman Marcus business and that of hundreds of brand partners’. Once the platform is launched, the Director of Brand Publishing will work with brand marketing and the brand partnerships managers to scale the platform with a variety of brand partners.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of Neiman Marcus’ publishing platform including solidifying the right channel offering, customer and channel valuation, content strategy, and reporting template with various internal stakeholders and external partners
Creation of bespoke brand partner marketing opportunities based on customer data, consumer insights and channel performance.
Develop a sell story for the publishing platform, along with new material to aid in the selling process
Implement the application of partner engagement criteria
Portfolio management - ensure the growth and success of our brand portfolio
Establish criteria (budget, customer targets, channels, objectives, categories) which allow brand partnerships managers to more efficiently develop marketing “campaigns” for our partners
Lead the review and optimization of partner marketing campaigns - the right channel and content mix and customer segmentation alignments
Accurately forecast and track revenue and expenses on a seasonal and annual basis; ensure sales/revenue and expenditure goals are met
Job Requirements:
10 or more years of experience in Digital Publishing with proven track record of success (financial growth, publication/engagement growth, content strategy, sales goals met)
5+ years of experience in leading and growing a team
Strong creative and strategic thinker who has the ability to problem-solve for multiple platforms (digital, mobile, print, social)
Demonstrated understanding of marketing channels and media
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion, under tight deadlines
Experience building and/or scaling a publishing platform a big plus
Experience in the retail or consumer goods via a D2C model considered valuable
Deep understanding of business financials and experience managing a P&L is a plus
Socially-savvy and able to form and grow relationships with internal and external partners
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Communications
