The Brand Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of marketing programs for Neiman Marcus Last Call. This position will work closely with the merchant, creative, advertising and account management teams to develop compelling and innovative new marketing ideas and programs.  A key responsibility will be the integration of ideas across channels in order to drive top line sales, bottom line profitability and new customer acquisition in an efficient and brand appropriate way.  The Brand Marketing Director will provide thought leadership in re-thinking Neiman Marcus Last Call brand experience elements to connect with the evolving digitally savvy customer of today.

 

 

Job Duties

Lead a strong team of Marketing Managers and Assistant Marketing Managers to; 

  • Develop deep understanding of the needs and wants of the Neiman Marcus Last Call customer in order to develop innovative marketing ideas to drive top line sales
  • With cross-functional partners - craft, manage and execute all integrated multi-channel marketing strategies, initiatives, and communications.
  • Drive continued ecommerce Growth through ownership of the email channel and with internal digital media team.
  • Manage marketing initiatives for all merchandise categories:  Men’s & Women’s Apparel, Gifts, Jewelry, Fine Apparel, Ladies Shoes, Designer Handbags, Home, etc, to include:
    • Support the development of the promotional calendar
    • Private/targeted customer programs
    • Manage collateral support to include any store marketing initiatives and visual needs
    • Coordinate online efforts/web page updates, when applicable
    • Maintain promotion details with cross functional team
    • Partner with Creative and Account Management teams in development of integrated marketing plans and in planning/scheduling in regards to Marketing And Creative process management


Job Requirements:

  • 10 or more years of Marketing or related business experience with a proven track record of success
  • 5+ years experience in leading a team to develop comprehensive multi-channel marketing programs that drive business and deliver results
  • Demonstrated big picture creative and strategic thinker who has the ability to problem-solve for all platforms Digital, Mobile, Print and Social
  • The ability to effectively communicate across the organization, clearly articulating strategy, key objectives, timelines
  • Proven ability to build relationships and consensus across multiple departments (marketing, optimization, web development, etc)
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion under tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical ability
  • Retail experience a plus
  • An undergraduate degree in marketing or equivalent experience is required and an M.B.A. is preferred
