Overview:

The Digital Customer Activation Specialist will be a key member of the Neiman Marcus Digital Customer Activation Team.  The candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall Digital Customer Activation strategy and processes.  They will help to deliver information, insight, and recommendations on monitoring, measuring, and optimizing the strategies.  In addition to producing regular reporting and analysis, the expectation is to go beyond traditional web analytics reporting and provide actionable insights and to help initiate and facilitate change to improve the business. 

This role requires high attention to detail, analytical skills, excellent time management, the ability to problem solve and multitask, along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.  A successful Digital Customer Activation Specialist will be inquisitive, proactive, highly analytical and data driven with an understanding of various online KPIs. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding and exciting environment.

The Digital Customer Activation Specialist will collaborate with several cross functional teams.  Close partnership will be with the Digital Customer Activation Director & Manager and Analytics Teams. 

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively responds to ad-hoc report and analysis requests

• Responsible for performing deep dive analysis into various business opportunities

• Responsible for using data to identify risks and opportunities and prioritize based on business impacts

• Tracks & Analyze strategies set in place

• Works with cross functional teams on data opportunities

• Self-starter and eager to pull data from various systems and compile into presentable/actionable information

• Builds & Conducts weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 2+ years of experience working in a Retail eCommerce environment focused on web analytics

• 2+ years of experience using web analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, Tableau or similar (Omniture preferred)

• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using data analytics tools.  Adobe Analytics & Tableau experience a must.  Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.

• Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal and written.

• Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, organization and professionalism.

• Thrives in a fast-paced and cross functional environment with a company first mindset.

• Proactive, self-motivated, passionate and accountable. A self-starter approach with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
