Asst Email Marketing Manager
Overview:
The Assistant Marketing Manager, Email is responsible for supporting the Email Marketing Managers in executing the day-to-day Neiman Marcus Group email initiatives, specifically related to daily marketing campaigns. This role partners with multiple teams such as Analytics, Creative, Merchants, PR, as well as our Email Service Provider and additional third-party vendors. This role is very detail-oriented and requires adaptability in covering a variety of duties and tasks daily, while contributing to larger strategic initiatives.
The primary focus of this role will be executing, analyzing, and optimizing the strategies for customer graduation and omnichannel personalization through initiatives such as our editorial emails, loyalty programs, file health, etc. This involves working to ensure all daily campaigns deploy through partnership with internal teams as well as third party vendors. Including focus on marketing within email service offerings and sales associate relationship to the right customer in the right way.
Duties:
Prepare, edit, and send email campaign requests with assets and instructions to Email Service Provider; quality assurance testing and approving deployments
Manage editorial deployments, optimizing content and audience relevancy
Identify and implement new opportunities to drive customer engagement through the email ecosystem, especially editorial, and email content and template optimizations in partnership with the manager.
Support and work closely with team members to ensure content strategy aligns with customer journey strategies and business needs
Communicate effectively with Creative, Merchandising, Advertising, Customer Insight, and Email Service Provider or third-party vendor on email changes, scheduling, and asset delivery
Provide insights and strategies to support ad hoc business needs through the email channel
Support reporting and measurement to provide insights on optimizing the content and customer experience within the channel
Support development of key initiatives for long term growth such as personalization, loyalty program and file health
Job Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in online marketing, email experience preferred
Exceptional analytical ability with proven track record of data-driven success
Strong communication and organizational skills; extremely detail-oriented
Highly proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint
Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
Occasional ability to work outside normal business hours due to nature of E-Commerce business
Experience with ESP and Personalization vendors
