Job Summary
This entry-level position on the NMO product-page copy team is responsible for completing a high volume of copy corrections, data entry, and discrepancy resolution.
Job Duties
Managing the Copy Corrections e-mail inbox, ensuring corrections are entered, synched, and flagged to reload within 24 hours
Data entry of product attributes, including measurements
Formatting vendor-provided copy for web (basic html)
Work on several projects simultaneously, including mass corrections to items across categories
Enter a heavy workload of product descriptions per week
Enter site corrections and changes from buyers on a daily basis
Follow up with other departments such as Production, Department Managers, QA, and Buyers is routine
Adhere to a specific set of style guidelines
Use both online resources and reference books to research fashion terms
Serve as human router for customer concerns
Troubleshooting load errors
Job Requirements
Superior-level of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be flexible and able to maintain a heavy workload and juggle simultaneous deadlines
Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to stay organized and stay on top of multiple email accounts—with etiquette and timeliness of response
Parse large quantities of data/text quickly
Ability to communicate and work as a team player
Excellent time management, self accountability, and organization skills
Dependability is absolutely essential
Knowledge of fashion terminology preferred
Superior typing, spelling, editing, and reading comprehension skills
Customer focus
Bachelor's Degree required - Journalism or English preferred
