Job Description: Assistant Email Marketing Manager, Neiman Marcus Brand
Overview
The Assistant Email Marketing Manager role is focused on email analytics and responsible for supporting the Email Marketing Team in analyzing and compiling email channel results to support benchmarking and program optimization. This person will contribute to quarterly calendar planning by aggregating prior year’s performance for editorial and promotional campaigns and identifying opportunities for growth. This person will also provide post-launch analysis and partner with the Email team to deliver actionable insights to cross functional partners such as Merchant, Creative, and Site teams.
This role will partner closely with the Customer Insights & Analytics team in developing dashboards and enhancing our tagging processes so that reporting coincides with align with changes to our business. This role will also support the team in tracking and executing our robust A/B testing agenda that aligns with our organizational strategic objectives.
This role is very detail-oriented and requires adaptability in covering a variety of duties and tasks on a daily basis.
Duties
Create and distribute KPI reports relating to email campaigns and assigned projects, driving to insights and recommendations.
Proactively learn about customer behavior and engage in understanding other reporting and customer analytics that might influence email channel improvements
Support Customer Analytics and Email Managers in development and execution of test plans and prepare results summaries
Support maintenance and improvements to customer contact map
Support ad hoc email reporting requests
Communicate effectively with Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Advertising, Customer Insights & Analytics, and Email Service Provider on performance
Job Requirements:

1-2 years’ experience in online marketing, email experience preferred

Strong analytical ability

Strong communication and organizational skills; extremely detail-oriented

Highly proficient in MS Excel, and familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Tableau

Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
Occasional ability to work outside normal business hours
