Job Duties

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate and audit all processes for preplanned and ad hoc price changes efficiently and accurately, meeting all deadlines on the Sale Event Timeline.

  • Partner with Store Operations, Web Promotion teams, and Marketing to ensure all sale event and pricing needs are met, and information is provided in a timely manner.

  • Support any new pricing initiatives, including refinements to current processes and programs, and partnerships with outside providers.

  • Develop, refine, and execute price reporting to merchants and upper management and ensure accuracy in all reports.

  • Communicate with the merchant organization both formally and informally to develop understanding of price change processes.

  • Facilitate merchant training related to price change and promotion execution

  • Assist all merchants up to the DMM level in solving issues and answering questions surrounding pricing activity.

  • Research unexpected markdown results, item price history, and pricing anomalies

  • Proactively support seasonal and ad hoc residue management processes.

 

Reports to

  • Manager, Central Price Management Team

 

Job Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Attention to detail

  • Proactive approach to tasks and to preventing or resolving issues

  • Ability to work well under pressure and with strict time constraints

  • Ability to learn systems and processes quickly

  • Flexible to change

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas

  • Proven analytical skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; both written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Prefer 2-3 years in a merchandising or retail environment
