Requirements:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Public accounting experience and/or CPA credential preferred
  • Strong accounting skills with 5-7 years’ experience, including technical accounting and management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to lead the team in a dynamic environment, priortitize workloads and communicate expectations upwards and downwards
  • Ability to work well with people at various levels throughout the organization (including both financial and non-financial roles)
  • Ability to effectively manage the performance of staff, including evaluating and maximizing strengths, addressing developmental opportunities, setting clear expectations and communicating feedback
  • Ability to analyze financial statements/information and communicate trends and variances to forecast/budget/prior for disclosure and financial planning
  • Ability to evaluate current accounting processes and propose/implement improvements
  • Strong computer application skills (such as MS Excel, MS Access)
  • Experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle is preferred
