Darcy Penick, President of Bergdorf Goodman and one of the first leaders in pure-play fashion e-commerce, has built a team of industry pioneers who are bringing their collective expertise and commitment to operational excellence to the world of Bergdorf Goodman.  As the destination to discover best in class designers, emerging brands and exclusive products, Bergdorf Goodman provides customers with transformative experiences that embody the definition of modern luxury.


Bergdorf Goodman is seeking a web merchandiser to maintain our brand point-of-view and merchandising priorities across our e-commerce platforms. This individual will report to our Digital Fashion Editor and work closely with the e-commerce business team to execute merchandise placements across all categories and optimize the performance of these assortments on key business metrics.


General Responsibilities:

·       Set up all editorial product landing pages and merchandise these pages with a full assortment based on direction from Digital Fashion Editor

·       Stay on top of current available assortment as well as schedule for incoming merchandise  

·       Ensure the assortment on all product landing pages are up-to-date and reflective of the brand’s editorial and business priorities

·       Work closely with e-commerce business team to track performance of curated assortments and understand what merchandise is resonating with our customers

·       Manage a process and supporting calendar that tracks all curated product landing pages along with details of merchandise assortment, priorities and performance



Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree and/or fashion background preferred

·       1-2 years of E-Commerce, merchandising, or beauty experience preferred

·       Previous buying experience is a plus

·       Must have a creative eye for trends and ability to express a cohesive fashion point-of-view across thousands of products and brads

·       Must be tech savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly

·       Must have a general understanding of sales analytics

·       Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

·       Must be extremely organized and detail oriented

·       Must be able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure

·       Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
