The Selling Manager is responsible for managing a range of activities related to motivating and leading a team of sales associates.  
  • Aligns personal and team objectives and goals with company and store strategic focus
  • Understands business drivers, the industry and competitors
  • Creates positive relationships throughout the store
  • Uses reports and data to drive business
  • Oversees promotional events, including marketing/client communications, preparation, merchandising, oversight of execution and follow up
  • Provides consistent and frequent feedback to both merchants and vendors on products, merchandising and sales
  • Partners with merchants to plan merchandising and assortments
  • Ensures team is focused on client acquisition and retention
  • Collaborates with sales associates on strategies to improve individual performance and determine actionable plans
  • Fosters a collaborative environment within the team
  • Actively engages with customers to build relationships
  • Maintains knowledge of clients
  • Acts as a leader and motivator to the selling team by modeling selling behavior
