Head of Engineering

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, business or related field
• Master’s degree would be a plus.
• Prior experience implementing large scale vendor integration systems or other large program implementation
• Prior experience in working with organizational change management/leadership and process change management.
• 10 or more years experience in business process and/or technology implementation
• 5 or more years experience managing third party vendor relationships and offshore development teams to achieve business outcomes
• 8 or more years experience at a manager level or above delivering global IT capabilities for a multi-national company with annual budgetary responsibilities
• Experience with methods, tools, technologies to deliver web based systems for extremely high performance and availability:
• Experience with RESTful Web Services, GraphQL and API development.
• Experience with Cloud native application, microservices & tools.
• Application Performance Management (dynatrace, appdynamics etc.)
• Search Platforms: Elastic, SOLR/Lucene, Endeca
• Content Management Platforms: Adobe AEM, Contentful, Fatwire, Documentum, Alfresco, Drupal, MediaWiki
• Working experience with Cloud based technology. [AWS Preferred]

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 15 years of IT systems experience in one or more of the following areas, with demonstrated progression of responsibilities:
• Application delivery (preferably eCommerce/web)
• Enterprise-scale application management
• Software product management
• API/Integration
• Enterprise & Application architecture
• IT/system product design and product strategy
• Business process reengineering
• Organizational development
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports and people management responsibilities
• At least 5 years of experience in managing and being accountable for budgets
• At least 5 years of experience in Agile software development
