The essential functions of the eCommerce Merchant Coordinator role include: 

  • Facilitate set-up of online items in internal systems from creation to publication
  • Obtain vendor copy information, request samples and coordinate photography for all online styles
  • Utilize programs such as Spin, FileMaker, BGMS and CMOS in order to pull SKU's, data and manage inventory
  • Maintain price discrepancy reports, adjusting prices, tracking marketing (including emails, in store events and editorials), and sales reports
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between in store merchandise and online items. Insure all copy information is up to vendors' standards and styles are pulling correctly through each system and ultimately on bergdorfgoodman.com
  • Maintain styles through entire life cycle, updating vendor style numbers, prices and fulfillment
  • Work closely with distribution center to create a system for sending purchased samples to be photographed
  • Plan and execute cross channel events for vendors
  • Create and coordinate digital look books and editorial photo shoots
  • Work closely with Site Merchandising, Photography Studio teams, Copywriting and Marketing teams
  • Establish and maintain excellent partnerships with assigned buying division
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university is preferred
  • eCommerce experience is preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Must be proactive and assume ownership of projects, ensuring all tasks are full completed
  • Must be detail oriented
