Job Summary
The Art Director is responsible for creative leadership and ownership of multiple projects and will coordinate with merchant and marketing teams to create innovative imagery and design for e-commerce and print advertising; produce and attend photo shoots; have layout and design experience; and work closely with Senior Director to continually elevate brand advertising.
Job Duties
- Create visually distinctive and engaging imagery for the web and magazine while maintaining the BG brand's style
- Articulate ideas and demonstrate a willingness to bring new ideas to the forefront
- Assure that all advertising guidelines and regulations are followed
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and thrive in a team oriented environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years professional experience in photo art direction and print design
- Degree in visual communication, multimedia design or a related course of
- study
- Portfolio containing samples of fashion art direction and design
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis in PhotoShop and InDesign
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Able to successfully organize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment with superior attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills; ability to interface with marketing and merchant teams on a regular basis
