Responsibilities
Build and maintain a labor model and forecast
for various business areas based on unique workload drivers and requirements
for each area (sales floor, support functions, service functions, and
restaurants)
Collaborate with business leaders to create and continuously
improve staffing models that align with business strategy and optimization
Build and maintain analysis and statistical
models that supports staffing and scheduling guidance
Collect, consolidate, and analyze operational
data, including preparing internal reporting deliverables, analyzing trends
& drivers, and explaining forecast vs. actual variances
Analyze, understand and communicate to business
partners data analysis impact on staffing and operational processes
Monitor performance, collaborate with management
and key partners to identify, plan, and implement actions to optimize employee
productivity and utilization
Establish relevant business metrics for
measuring productivity
Prepare and deliver periodic exec-level updates
on status, insights and trends to help inform and guide critical business
decisions
Collaborates to understand and apply short- and
long-term workload needs with staffing requirements
Engages and coordinates leadership team in
discussions to identify and implement improvement measures when performance is
jeopardized
Provide customized and advanced analytical
support to enterprise wide business areas to drive better forecasting
performance and operational efficiency
Influence decision making to improve overall
performance in all business groups.
Research workforce management best practices and
develop appropriate recommendations to improve demand forecasting, capacity
planning and employee utilization
