The Market Visual Manager leads multiple store Visual Merchandising teams in the creation of the overall look and feel of store environments within their Market. This role promotes an extraordinary customer experience and brings the Neiman Marcus brand and fashions to life through magical and powerful storytelling within windows and in-store activations.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

Brand Standards

Upholds the NMG Brand principles and Visual principles and incorporates them into the overall visual merchandising strategy

Initiates and ensures adherence to all Corporate directive strategies

Windows & In-Store Activations

Owns the overall store experience and store environments within the Market stores including all merchandising and visual displays

Supports the creation of in-store environments across the Market to support luxury customer platforms by making it personal, unconditional, and magical

Develops and builds strong seasonal concepts with cohesive brand standards around the theme of “extraordinary playground” for the Market

Drives adoption of overall fashion style cards within all stores through visual merchandising presentations of monthly and seasonal fashion trends

Creates impactful holiday story to be showcased through store windows and in-store activations

Meetings/Calendars/Budgets

Maintains 6- to 8-week campaign calendar schedule to create consistent, elevated, and magical experiences

Participates in weekly corporate conference calls and attends All-Store Visual conference calls to discuss and review upcoming Visual Merchandising-related events

Communication with Key Partners

Communicates to and educates Associates on the NMG Brand standards and Brand Partner standards / guidelines

Partners with Corporate on development and execution of new all-store window campaigns and in-store experiences and activations and provides direction to Visual team to execute

Partners with Corporate and Store Leadership teams on management and spend plans per assigned store visual budgets

Qualifications

4-6 years of relevant experience, luxury retail fashion experience helpful

4-year degree preferred

Displays a natural passion for fashion and trends

History of leading, motivating, and coaching teams to achieve objectives

Knowledge of basic computer skills and programs including Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Google SketchUp, and/or Autodesk Revit; and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds

Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Travel may be required, up to 25%
